Membership

Society of Children with Disorder of Sexual Development (SCDSD) [Registered under the Societies Registration Act 1960] invites you to participate and contribute to its academic and social work activities by being its member. The society has many stalwarts and highly placed professionals and aims to achieve the following:

To facilitate treatment and organize the rehabilitation of children with Disorders of Sexual Development (DSD) while also addressing associated ethical, legal, and social issues.
The society also aims to create awareness in both the public and medical fraternity for this condition and to provide assistance to medical health professionals, especially those in peripheral centers for better management of such patients.
Besides this, the aim is also to revolutionize research in this area while creating a national database for such children.

We sincerely request you to join the movement and provide us input to achieve these aims. While being a member of the society, the following points need to be followed:

1. The invited member will abide by the rules of the society as per MOA

2. They will actively contribute towards the welfare of the beneficiary children as well as of the society

3. They will do their best to promote the interests of the society and will undertake nothing that could adversely affect society on reputation or in any manner

4. They will try to attend and participate in the activities of Society from time to time

5. They will show expected solidarity to all members of the society and abide by the voluntarily accepted roles

The membership structure is as follows:

“Annual membership” charges will be Rs 1000/- while “Lifetime membership” charges would be Rs 3000/-
Members not practicing life sciences are permitted to join as “Associate members” with the same membership structure.
